Rasta movement emerged in Jamaica among working-class and peasant black people in the early 1930s, arising from an interpretation of Biblical prophecy. Rastas see themselves as conforming to a vision of how Africans should live, reclaiming what they see as a culture stolen from them when they were brought on slave ships to Jamaica, birthplace of the movement.

The name Rastafari comes from Ras (Duke) Tafari Makonnen, the pre-coronation name of Haile Selassie I.

Rastafari is a new-religious movement that accepts Haile Selassie I, the former emperor of Ethiopia, as Jah.

Jamaicans believed that Haile Selassie 1 was the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. He was the Emperor of Ethiopia between 1930-1974. The whole Rasta movement influenced and created because of him.

If this is a crupt world, which i think it is. The people will sell their souls for anything! And we wonder why the weakest most mainstream people are getting all the fame, and everyone we love is super underrated?? Dont lie, I know yall can name a few artist that yall know are doope but they get no love, no credit!!!

I feel like out of greed and fame, Puff and Jay came together and decided to kill Pac and Biggie. First I think they were mason, and the idea came up so they could later achieve abominaition. I don't feel like they initiated the beef between the two, but I feel like they took the advantage from it and stirred it up so they would two be killed.

Puff and Jay are the only two people in Hip Hop to be so successful and filled with money! Yall should know Puff is already self-ish this nigga wont even get married, he dont want to share half his assets, his last name, his freedom. PS. I keep hearing he on the down low! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww! Jay and Puff both own stock, they own businesses, they have their own successful clothing line (that for years has been neck and neck), both have colonge, their own record label, both are mogules, both named sean/shawn, they both switched up swag together

Ahhhhhh!!! I have been MIA!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! So I have really been MIA and just neglecting my blogsite(sadface)!! But its been for a good reason! I have been making moves people and have really been on my grind yo!! I moved out to Los Angeles with my aunt in June, So all of May you know Im looking for apartments making visits to LA to see where I want to live, you know that kinda shhh! Well finally we take that 19 hour drive and make it here, NOW I have to settle in, unpack, lalalalalalblahblahblah, find a job! Basically yall, im moving into my permanent spot next month in August, I have 2 jobs right now and have just been on it like no other!!! But I missed blogging and am most def back in bizness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swine Flu Update

Reports say that people are going a little over board with the real danger of the swine flu. Above is a picture of citizens wearing face masks to protect them selfs from the airborne virus. Its been said, there is a plenty of more serious diseases that are killing millions a day, example: Malaria. There has only been 1 death in the United States, and it was a 22 year old boy from Texas who had just came back from visiting Mexico. The other 19 reported deaths were in Mexico. Lets live each day as a blessing, and still take precauitions but if you have zero symtoms don't check yourself into the emergency room.

GOLDEN GIRL PASSES AWAY :(

Dorthy, real name Beatrice Arthur, from the Golden Girls passed away at age 86 earlier this week. Sofia who played her mother died last July at age 84. They were wonderful actress and had tons of success. I loved watching the Golden Girls!!! Sofia and Rose are my fab 2!! But they were all four amazing, I still catch reruns. The star was suffering from cancer, and died peacefully at her LA home with her family members by her side. God Bless and condolences to the family!
